Whole Sign Horoscopes for Saturn in Aries
Today, the great timelord Saturn is reborn. After nearly 3 decades transiting the zodiac, he leaves Pisces and starts again at the very firstdegree of the zodiac in Aries. As he does so, he enters the fiery, action-oriented sign of my natal ascendant, and has inspired me to concoct my first ever horoscuplar article in the 4 year history of Body Made Stars.
12 little missives for each 12 rising signs that are designed to help you navigate this 2+ year transit with elegance, purpose, and strength. Look for your rising sign particularly to see how this applies to you but also feel free to check out your Sun and Saturn signs for relevant information.
Here goes.
ARIES
Saturn is coming to conjunct your ascendant, moving from your 12th house to your first period. The weight of the world and the power you have to effect it is about to be amplified. As this is happening in synchrony to Neptune‘s entrance into Aries, there is a distinct visionary quality to the changes you’re looking to make. Now is the time to act on your dreams and round them into reality. No one can live your life for you. If you have been standing on the precipice, now is the time to make your approach, judge your distances, and make the leap towards the next level of your life. To me this applies, especially to becoming a father, starting a family, and coalescing my many passions and adventures into one unified whole. What does it look like to you?
PISCES
Pisces ascendant, Saturn is moving out of your first house and into the second after three long years in your watery depths. If you have felt your identity dissolve, now is the time to begin to reclaim it, and remember what belongs to you. Saturn transiting the second house is an opportunity to strengthen your material foundations: health, wealth, and home patients and hard work will be rewarded, and fire tending will lead to a warm and roaring hearth for you and your loved ones.
AQUARIUS
For those with Aquarius ascendant, Saturn and Uranus are your natal chart rulers, and both are changing signs decisively in the next month: Saturn from watery Pisces into fiery Aries, and Uranus from material Taurus into noetic Gemini. So this transition - from the second house of materiality into the third house of sociability, study, and imagination will be poignantly felt. Talk about your visions, work with your community and your beloveds to make them real. Remain humble and open to learning new things.
CAPRICORN
As the other Saturn ruled chart, you Capricorn risings will notice the shift from third to fourth house as a redirection from the world of the possible to the realities of the actual. It is an amazing season to ground into your home, your garden, your community, and your hearth, and strengthen the roots that make you such a powerful and consistent leader in your circle of family and friends.
SAGITTARIUS
As it moves into Aries, Saturn is moving from a square to your ascendant into a trine - an aspect much more conducive to growth and progress. If you have felt like your potential has been mired in the muddy waters for the past cycle, Saturn’s ingress can bring fresh clarity, directionality, and energy to your creative quests. As it moves into your fifth house of masterworks, this is a great time to plant a flag of what you intend to bring into the world in the coming years - whether in art, business, spirit, or, maybe, actual children.
SCORPIO
Scorpio ascendant, Saturn is moving into the other sign that is ruled by Mars as you are, and perhaps the only sign that can equal your intensity of presence. Given that it will be coming in to your sixth house of health, it is a good time to check in with your emotional, physical, and mental bodies and see where you can do some repair work, and/or take heed to prevent more serious challenges from arising down the line. Consider sweat lodge, plant diets, and other holistic and well-tested methodologies to go beyond treating symptoms and get down to the root cause.
LIBRA
Saturn is on his way into the seventh house of relationship. Libra rising, your tendency to be so adaptable and in balance with those you meet is a gift but it may pose challenges to forming deep, stable, lasting connections. This new transit is an invitation for you to be more true to your intuitive self than ever before and be steadfast in standing up for your desires, boundaries, and goals. Saturn is exalted in Libra and in fall in Aries. Use your innate sense of justice to your own advantage, which will help bring around the best outcomes for you and everyone you love.
VIRGO
Those of us with Virgo ascendant are prone to a deeply organized sense of the world, of right and wrong, and of their own creative aspirations. Saturn entering your 8th house in fiery, impulsive Aries shows the cracks in this order - but the cracks are where the light gets in. Use Saturn’s occupancy in the 8th house for these coming years as a tool to go deeper into the excavation and exploration of your self than ever before, and use your agile Virgo mind to separate the pearls from the dust as your bring them home and build your altar. Not dynamite but a sharply honed tool for precision excavation.
LEO
Leo ascendant, Saturn is coming to a harmonious late trine to your natal rising as it heads into your 9th house. When the student is ready, the teacher appears - and tho you are fiercely independent and possibly impetuous, Saturn the master teacher is arriving in your soul’s dojo. Maybe this means taking initiation, or maybe this means leaving the comfortable confines of your home to explore the farthest reaches of your dreams in this world. Whatever it looks like, listen. There are lessons here.
CANCER
Cozy Cancer ascendant, Saturn is crossing your mid heaven to enter the house of work, success, and achievement. What a great chance to ground the gentle and generous presence you bring to the world into the practical realities of making a better one for yourself, your family, and the culture at large. When Saturn enters the 10th house, look for emergent activations of your career path that were hidden before now. This is one of the great places for Saturn to be in the chart, as his power to materialize is at its strongest in the 10th house, and Aries, though square to Cancer, is like a fire under your tea kettle. Listen for the whistle and pour out the gifts.
GEMINI
Gemini rising, Saturn in Aries is sextile your essentially mutable ascendant and is headed towards your 11th house. This is a massive opportunity to tap into the noosphere that your were born to navigate but in a much more consistent, steady, daily manner. Make sure to temper your access to the Akashic with plenty of rest and lots of good hydration. You can channel miracles in the coming years - but don’t let that come at the cost of your own balance and well being.
TAURUS
Taurus rising, so steady and strong, Saturn is coming to your 12th house of transcendence and completion as it births again in the collective. This transit is a time for you to realize your spiritual goals that you’ve been journeying towards for decades and light a candle in your newly completed temple to love, insight, peace, and Gaia. You hold the earth keys, which must not be lost in the dark. Guard them and celebrate them and be strong.
So good to be on this sacred earth in this great turning with you all.
Love over all
Samu
